ENG3U Unit 6: Truth on Screen
How documentaries and podcasts shape truth: documentary modes, an editing-room experiment, interview ethics, true crime, and a student podcast or mini-documentary.

Students edit the same twelve clips into two opposite stories, compare two versions of a podcast, practise ethical interviews, analyse a documentary and who funded it, then make their own piece about a local issue.
Assessment of learning: a podcast episode or mini-documentary with a production log and reflection, with a rubric.
