Planning a whole course from scratch takes hundreds of hours, and it usually lands on the people with the least time: new teachers, long-term occasional teachers, supply teachers and anyone handed a course they've never taught. K9solutions exists to take that weight off. Every course here is built to be taught the next morning, not just read.

What you get

A complete course is a full semester, organized and ready to go:

  • A course outline and a day-by-day schedule, so you always know what's next.
  • Every lesson as a teacher plan written for a 75-minute period, with learning goals, success criteria and timings.
  • Slides with speaker notes, handouts and readers for every lesson.

Built for Ontario, useful anywhere

Every course is built around the current Ontario curriculum, and the lesson plans list the Ontario expectations they cover. You don't need to teach in Ontario to use them, though. The skills (reading, writing, problem solving, scientific inquiry, historical thinking, career planning) match what Grade 9 to 12 courses teach in other provinces and in other countries. Because every file is editable, you can swap the Ontario codes for your own standards and adjust the evaluation plan to your school's rules. Each complete course page has a "Teaching outside Ontario?" section that explains what transfers directly and what is specific to Canada. Prices are in Canadian dollars.
