Grading assistant
Paste a rubric and one piece of student work. Get a suggested level for each criterion, with quoted evidence, a strength, a next step and an overall comment. You review and finalize every mark.
Coming soon
We're putting the finishing touches on this tool. When it opens, you'll be able to:
- grade against any rubric you paste, or the Ontario achievement chart (Knowledge and Understanding, Thinking, Communication, Application) by default
- see the evidence behind every suggested level, quoted from the student's work
- get a strength, a next step and an overall comment ready to edit
- copy or download the results: your rubrics and students' work are never saved
- pay only for what you use with prepaid credits, from C$10 for 30 gradings, and a credit is only used when a grading succeeds

Your data
K9solutions never saves your rubric, the student work or the results. They're never logged or stored, and there are no cookies on this page. They only exist in this browser tab. Refresh or close the tab and they're gone, so use Copy or Download to keep your own copy.
What we do keep, for credits. To run prepaid credits we store your grading key (only as a scrambled hash, so not even we can read it), the email you paid with, your credit balance, your purchases, and for each grading only its date, the credits used, the number of tokens and whether it worked. That lets us keep your balance and check our costs. None of it contains any text from a grading. Payments are handled by Stripe, and we never see your card number.
No analytics here. Google Analytics never loads on this page, even if you accepted cookies elsewhere on the site.
The text is sent to Anthropic to be graded. When you click Grade, your rubric, task description and student work go through our server to Anthropic, the company that makes the Claude AI model, and the suggestions come back to your browser. Anthropic may process the text outside Canada.
- Anthropic says that for API users it automatically deletes inputs and outputs from its systems within 30 days. The exceptions are when longer retention is agreed, when it's needed to enforce Anthropic's Usage Policy, or when the law requires it. If Anthropic's automated safety systems flag content as breaking its Usage Policy, it may keep the inputs and outputs for up to 2 years. Anthropic: how long it stores data
- Anthropic says it doesn't train its models on data from its commercial services, including the API this tool uses, unless the customer opts in, for example by sending feedback or joining its Development Partner Program. This tool sends no feedback, and K9solutions doesn't opt in. Anthropic: training and your data
We can't promise more than Anthropic's own policies. Before you send anything, remove student names, student numbers, email addresses and anything else that could identify a student. The "Remove names" button helps, but it only catches common patterns, so read the text yourself. Follow your school board's rules on AI tools and student information.
Bots and abuse. To stop bots from running up costs, the page uses Cloudflare Turnstile to check you're a person. Turnstile doesn't receive the rubric or the work. Cloudflare, which hosts this site, may keep standard technical logs such as IP addresses, as on every page. More in our privacy policy.
