ENG2D Complete Course: Grade 10 Academic English
Everything you need to teach Grade 10 Academic English for a full semester: six units, an independent novel study, the culminating task, a final exam and five buffer lessons.

A complete, ready-to-teach semester of ENG2D. Every lesson is 75 minutes and covers about 85 class periods, so it fits a standard Ontario semester with room for assemblies and PD days.
Every unit mixes reading, writing, oral communication and media, and ends with an assessment of learning and a four-level rubric. All original stories, ads, posts, headlines and images were made for these lessons, so there are no copyright problems.
Teaching outside Ontario?
A full Grade 10 academic English course: short fiction and personal narrative, media literacy (ads, algorithms, AI), rhetoric and persuasive speech, Shakespeare's Macbeth, poetry and spoken word, and an independent novel study. It fits Grade 10 English or ELA 10 anywhere. The Literacy Bootcamp unit prepares students for Ontario's literacy test, and works as reading and writing test preparation in any province or state. Everything comes as editable Word and PowerPoint files, so you can replace the Ontario expectation codes with your own standards and adjust the evaluation plan to your school's rules. Prices are in Canadian dollars.
