CHC2D Unit 6: Culminating Inquiry and Final Exam
A culminating historical inquiry into a turning point since 1914, review lessons across the century, and an original written final exam with a marking guide.

Everything to finish CHC2D. Students choose a turning point from any period, write an inquiry question, find and judge primary and secondary sources, keep a research log, build an argument with the concepts of historical thinking and present it as an essay, presentation, podcast or exhibit. Review lessons trace six themes across the century and practise each type of final evaluation question.
Includes the culminating historical inquiry (10%) with a rubric and teacher guide, and a written final exam (20%) with knowledge, source analysis, historical thinking and extended response sections and a full marking guide, matching Ontario's 2026 evaluation policy.
