ENL1W Unit 4: Digital Citizens
Digital footprints, privacy policies, kindness online, curated feeds, misinformation, fact-checking, a misinformation escape room and generative AI, ending with a fact-check report and a guide for younger students.

How do we stay safe, smart and kind online, and how do we tell what's true? Students audit a fictional digital footprint, decode a privacy policy, practise upstander moves, learn professional fact-checking, crack a misinformation escape room and write class AI guidelines, using original posts, apps and websites made for these lessons.
Assessment of learning: a fact-check report and a digital guide for younger students, built through a design sprint, with rubrics.
