CHC2D Complete Course: Grade 10 Canadian History
Everything you need to teach Grade 10 Canadian History since World War I for a full semester: six units from historical thinking to Canada today, original source sets, every summative with a rubric, the culminating inquiry and a final evaluation.

A complete, ready-to-teach semester of CHC2D. Every lesson is 75 minutes. The course has 63 lessons plus flexible classes for summative work, presentations and review, so it fits a standard Ontario semester with room for assemblies and PD days.
Every unit builds historical inquiry and the four concepts of historical thinking, includes First Nations, Métis and Inuit perspectives, Black Canadian history, francophone and immigrant perspectives and women's history, and ends with an assessment of learning and a four-level rubric. All practice sources, data sets and examples are original, so there are no copyright problems and no class sets to buy.
Teaching outside Ontario?
A full Grade 10 course in Canadian history from 1914 to today: both world wars, the Depression, the Cold War, rights movements, Indigenous history, Quebec and Canada since 1982, taught through historical thinking and real sources. It fits any Canadian history or social studies course on 20th-century Canada, in any province. Teachers outside Canada can use the historical thinking lessons, but the content is Canadian. Everything comes as editable Word and PowerPoint files, so you can replace the Ontario expectation codes with your own standards and adjust the evaluation plan to your school's rules. Prices are in Canadian dollars.
