Semester calendar planner

Put in your first and last day, your days off and your units, and get a day-by-day schedule of every class with the unit and lesson number. See at a glance whether your plan fits. Everything happens in your browser; nothing is saved or sent.

1. Course and dates

Weekends never count. Use your board's calendar for the first day, the last day and the exam dates.

Come back later

Nothing is kept in your browser. Save a plan file to your computer, then open it here next time to pick up where you left off.

2. Units

Review classes are held back for the last classes before the end date. A flex class after each unit leaves room to catch up when a lesson runs long or a day gets lost.

    Does it fit?

      3. Days off and special days

No school is a holiday, PD day or break. No class is a school day when this class doesn't happen (an assembly, a field trip, exams). Short class still happens and still counts.

        No days off yet.

The Ontario dates are the usual ones for 2026–27 (Labour Day, Thanksgiving, winter break, Family Day, March Break, Good Friday, Easter Monday and Victoria Day). They're typical, not official, so check them against your board's calendar. PD days are different at every board: add yours.

        Your schedule

Type your plan for any class in the Plan and notes column. Notes stay with the lesson, so if you add a day off later they move along with it. Copy table pastes into Google Docs or Word, the CSV opens in Google Sheets or Excel, and the calendar file adds one all-day event per class to Google Calendar, Outlook or Apple Calendar (import it into a new, separate calendar so it's easy to remove).

This planner counts Monday to Friday as school days and skips the days you add. It doesn't know your board's calendar, so the Ontario dates are a starting point only. If your school restarts the cycle at Day 1 after a break, or runs a special timetable on some days, mark those days here or adjust the plan by hand. Check your schedule against your board's official calendar before sharing it with students.
