MTH1W Complete Course: Grade 9 Mathematics (De-streamed)
Everything you need to teach de-streamed Grade 9 Math for a full semester: seven units covering number, algebra, coding, relations, geometry and measurement, financial literacy and data, plus a culminating modelling task and a final exam.

A complete, ready-to-teach semester of MTH1W, built on the 2021 Ontario Grade 9 Mathematics curriculum. Every lesson is 75 minutes, and the course runs 88 class periods (about 110 hours), so it fits a standard Ontario semester.
The course covers every strand, with coding in Python woven through each unit and connections to careers and to the knowledge systems of many cultures and communities. The course map links all 43 specific expectations to the lessons that teach them, and the evaluation plan follows Ontario's 2026 requirements for Grade 9: 65% classroom work (a summative task and a unit test in every unit, plus the culminating modelling task), 20% final evaluation (the EQAO Grade 9 Assessment of Mathematics counts as the written exam) and 15% attendance and participation. Every problem, data set, graph and example was written for these lessons, with worked solutions for every question. All tools are free: Desmos, free spreadsheets and any board-approved Python editor.

Everything comes as editable Word and PowerPoint files, so you can replace the Ontario expectation codes with your own standards and adjust the evaluation plan to your school's rules.
